Hackers

In the other post I hacked a DVD player. Many people hear the word "hacker" and immediately think of something bad. The word "hacker" has some bad connotations. However, to the maker community, hacking is just taking something apart and re-purposing it. So whenever I talk about hacking, I mean it in the maker sense, not the stealing-your-bank-account sense.
